Eighty-two percent of the sorties released since 1 Oct have been done electronically. Wings are making the transition smoothly. We expect the use of the paper CAPF 99 will be discontinued soon except for very limited circumstances where a flight release officer does not have access to a computer or smart phone. Several wings are also beta-testing aircraft scheduling and discrepancy reporting modules. These will be brought online for all wings in the coming months.
