Would you like to make a difference in the lives of the men and women who serve our country? With wartime deployments eroding resources, bases want volunteers now more than ever. Consider volunteering for the CAP Volunteer Support to the Air Force program (VSAF) at Wright Patterson AFB, Luke AFB or Randolph AFB. This new service opportunity is an excellent chance to match your skills with unfilled volunteer positions at these selected bases. We are eager to show our support for these dedicated airmen so let us know what you would be interested in doing.
What can I do?
Volunteer opportunities depend on the needs of the base and the skills and desires of volunteers. The needs of the bases vary widely but so far we have had requests for support that range from administrative services to shooting and editing video or assisting at the base education office. We receive other needs for support regularly. Requirements vary from occasional one-time events to recurring weekly and daily requirements. If we don't have an immediate requirement for your skill, we will be happy to discuss other activities for which you may be a good fit. The first step is to let us know you are available.
Where do I sign up?
Please contact us if you are available to support the programs at Randolph, Luke or Wright-Patterson. The Texas, Arizona and Ohio CAP wings each have a designated point of contact who will act as a liaison between you and the base to get you started. VSAF opportunities are currently not open to cadets.
