CAP Online Learning

CAP Headquarters has scheduled Blackboard training for those initially involved in developing online courses and tests for CAP. From this training we will begin placing pilot programs online and develop the infrastructure for our future online efforts. We plan on a online orientation course for all users plus specialized online courses for those developing and teaching online courses.

e-Learning plans call for an online learning component for traditional courses such as Squadron Leadership School and Corporate Learning Course as well as the capability to offer ancillary training to all members on an individual basis. Members will be able to enroll in specialty training tracks online and complete upgrade requirements in conjunction with OJT. We will also have the capability to allow instructor facilitated online courses for specialized training. Future plans call for the development of simulations and other video based training which will be responsive to rapidly changing conditions.
