Online Membership Renewal Contest
Chance to win a $50 gift card for renewing your membership online!
CAP members who renew online through their eServices account will be eligible to win either a $50 Wal-Mart or Vanguard gift card! It’s easy to participate – members just need to renew their membership online through their eServices account. One winner will be selected at random from each month’s eligible online renewals and will have the option of receiving either a $50 Vanguard online gift card or a $50 Wal-Mart gift card. The contest will begin on 1 April 2012 and the winner for the April renewals will be selected in May 2012. A new winner will be selected each month with the last eligible month being September 2013. The contest is to encourage members to save CAP money and resources by renewing online. In order to qualify, the member must renew their membership through eServices and make sure their contact information is updated when they renew. Members who renew via mail, email, fax or telephone (any method other than self-renewal online) are ineligible to win.

Contest Rules:
Winners of the Online Membership Renewal Contest will be chosen by a random number generator by NHQ/EXA from the online renewals processed by members (not processed by employees of CAP).
To qualify for the random drawing, the individual must be a current member in good standing and must renew their membership through their eServices account. Membership renewals that are processed by a paid CAP employee will not be eligible.
Civil Air Patrol is not responsible for and will not consider incomplete renewals or any technical difficulties or issues that would preclude a member from renewing online.
Winners will be contacted using the phone and/or email address on record in the CAP membership database. Members should ensure their contact information is updated in eServices. The CAP member who renewed is considered the winner and no substitutes are allowed.
CAP will mail the Wal-Mart gift card to the address on record in the winner’s member record. Winners who select the Vanguard gift card will be emailed the card and can only use the card for online purchases (not phone orders).
Claiming of prizes requires an email and/or phone call to CAP within 15 days of being notified of winning. Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize.
Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, and all such additional costs that may be incurred.
Neither Civil Air Patrol nor employees of CAP may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of any winners of a prize once possession has been taken of the product by winner. CAP is not liable for any loss arising out of or in connection with or resulting from any contest promoted by CAP.
If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Civil Air Patrol may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
For a list of contest winner names, please mail a letter specifying that you are inquiring about the winners of the Online Membership Renewal Contest and include a self-addressed and prepaid envelope to Civil Air Patrol, Attn: Marie Vogt, 105 S. Hansell St. Bldg 714, Maxwell AFB, AL, 36112
Civil Air Patrol employees and members of their households, whether or not related, and immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) are prohibited from winning any prizes.
