THE CIVIL AIR PATROL INSPECTOR GENERAL SENIOR LEVEL TRAINING
A Civil Air Patrol Inspector General Senior Level Training Course is scheduled for 25-26 April 2009. The training is scheduled for Hyatt Place Hotel; 950 University Place; Sarasota, FL. This is on the southern perimeter of the Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ) Airport. Out of town students should plan to arrive on Friday, 24 April. Sign-in will be Saturday morning at 0730 at the class site. Classes will be all day Saturday and will be released by 1700 on Sunday.
Cost:
There will be $25.00 charge to cover refreshments an optional refresment and cocktail party.
Billeting: A special rate of $99.00 has been negotiated with the Hyatt Place Hotel. Reservations can be made by calling (941) 554-5800. Please be sure to mention that you are with the Civil Air Patrol.
Directions:
The Hyatt Place Hotel is on University Pace, which runs east-west on the southern perimeter of the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport. This is just east of the intersection of US 41 and University Place, which forms the southwest corner of the airport. From I-75, take exit 213 (University Place) and go west 6 miles. The hotel is on the left (south) side of University Place.

Student Requirements:
Space is limited. All applicants must be current members of Civil Air Patrol. Applications will be accepted in the following priority:
- Applicants assigned as Wing or Region Inspectors General or assistants.
- Applicants assigned as Group, Wing or Region Commanders
- Applicants assigned as Group, Wing or Region Vice-Commanders or Chiefs of Staff.
- Applicants assigned as Legal Officers.
- Other interested members with the approval of the CAP/IGT.
- Members of Southeast Region will have priority over all others.
Uniform Requirements:
AF blue shirt with or without a tie or CAP aviator shirt with or without a tie worn in accordance with CAPM 39-1. Laptop computers are encouraged, but not required.
