THE CIVIL AIR PATROL INSPECTOR GENERAL SENIOR LEVEL TRAINING

 A Civil Air Patrol Inspector General Senior Level Training Course is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, 17-18 September 2009.  The training is scheduled for the Doubletree-Bakersfield Hotel, which is the same hotel as the California Wing Conference.  The address is 3100 Camino Del Rio Court; Bakersfield, CA 93308.  Non-comuting students should plan to arrive on Wenesday, 16 september.  Sign-in will be Thursday morning at 0730 at the class site.  Classes will be all day Thursday and will be released by 1700 on Friday.

Cost:
There will be no charge associated with this course.

Billeting:  Billeting will be at the Doubletree-Bakersfield Hotel, 3100 Camino Del Rio Ct; Bakersfield, CA 93308.  They have given us a special $100.00 rate for a room, single or double occupancy.  Reservations may be made by calling the hotnel at (661) 323-7111. 

Directions:
The classroom site is immediately west of exit 26 (Rosedale Highway) from US-99.

Student Requirements:
Space is limited.  All applicants must be current members of Civil Air Patrol.  Applications will be accepted in the following priority:

1. Applicants assigned as Wing or Region Inspectors General or assistants.
2. Applicants assigned as Group, Wing or Region Commanders
3. Applicants assigned as Group, Wing or Region Vice-Commanders or Chiefs of Staff.
4. Applicants assigned as Legal Officers.
5. Other interested members with the approval of the CAP/IGT.
6. Members of Pcific and Rocky Mountain Regions will have priority over all others.

Uniform Requirements:
AF blue shirt with or without a tie or CAP aviator shirt with or without a tie or darkn blue golf shirt worn in accordance with CAPM 39-1.  Laptop computers are encouraged, but not required.
