THE CIVIL AIR PATROL INSPECTOR GENERAL SENIOR LEVEL TRAINING
A Civil Air Patrol Inspector General Senior Level Training Course is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 22-23 October 2011. The training is scheduled for the Penn Stater Conference Center at Penn State University campus in State College, PA. Non-commuting students should plan to arrive on Friday, 21 October. Sign-in will be Saturday morning at 0730 at the class site. Classes will be all day Saturday and will be released by 1700 on Sunday.
Cost: There will be a $25 charge associated with this course to cover breakfast, lunch and refreshments both days (students are on their own for supper). This fee will be collected at sign-in. Please bring cash, which will make it easier to pay for lunch, etc. A receipt will be provided.
Billeting: Billeting will be at the Penn Stater Conference Center and Hotel. The room rate isapproximately $90 per night. Attendees need to make their own reservations by calling the Penn Stater at (800) 233-7505. There is a booking code to be used when making a reservation that will have to be obtained from the PAWg Point of Contact, Lt Col Wayne Toughill. Col Toughill may be reached at wayne@toughill.com.

Student Requirements: Space is limited. All applicants must be current members of Civil Air Patrol. Applications will be accepted in the following priority:
- Applicants assigned as Wing or Region Inspectors General or assistants.
- Applicants assigned as Group, Wing or Region Commanders
- Applicants assigned as Group, Wing or Region Vice-Commanders or Chiefs of Staff.
- Applicants assigned as Legal Officers.
- Other interested members with the approval of the CAP/IGT.
- Members of Northeast Region will have priority over all others.
Uniform Requirements:
AF blue shirt with or without a tie or CAP aviator shirt with or without a tie or dark blue golf shirt worn in accordance with CAPM 39-1. Laptop computers are encouraged, but not required. Most students find them very helpful during the course.
