TLC Students
Current and prospective students: Welcome to the 2011 TLC Course!
Survey after survey, cadets have said senior leadership is the #1 factor affecting their overall experience in CAP.
The overall goal of the TLC program is to improve your ability to lead cadets and administer the Cadet Program at the squadron level.
During TLC, you will:
- learn how the Cadet Program should be implemented at the squadron level
- trade success stories with leaders from other squadrons
- gain practical tools you can use in your unit's Cadet Program.
How to Register. TLC is conducted at the group level or higher. Contact your group or wing headquarters for information about TLC courses in your area.
Prerequisites. To foster a learning environment that encourages open discussion among the adults who lead cadets, only senior members are eligible to participate in TLC. Because TLC assumes a basic familiarity with CAP, students should arrive at TLC having already completed Level I in the senior member professional development program.
