The primary objective of the DDR program’s education element is to increase knowledge, both among CAP members and the community, about the dangers of drug abuse. The education element focuses especially on CAP cadets as the target audience, and provides the foundation necessary for DDR outreach. Commanders may partner with outside agencies to achieve DDR educational goals. Some methods and materials used to educate CAP members on drug abuse are listed below.
