"My first actual leadership experience, other than being support staff, was when I was a flight commander at our Winter Encampment.  I had just become an officer, and while I had all but memorized the textbooks, I had never been directly in charge of people.  I learned that leadership is best learned through experience, not through a book." -
- 2012 IACE Cadet Applicant
