You’ve heard of wings hosting “aerospace days” and “leadership academies.” Why not a similar endeavor showcasing the character development aspects of cadet life?
National Character Day is a new, hands-on, wing-level activity that serves two purposes:
(1) Motivate cadets to take seriously issues of character and honor, while recommitting themselves to the drug-free ethic;
(2) Further integrate the DDR program into CAP’s overall Cadet Program.
We want to emphasize that Character Day is a hands-on, adventure-based program. Cadets listen to a compelling message from a notable speaker, and then get their hands dirty with some kind of challenge that pushes them beyond their normal comfort zone (think rappelling or indoor skydiving, for example). DDR funding is available to support the program.

I think this is a great idea for CAP cadets like me to get a more in-depth look into possessing true military character.
We have planned this event for our Wing and I wanted to request 40 student workbooks. Can I get these sent to me by September 24th? Thanks!
I am at a loss, I can't find a date anywhere on when this takes place. Looks like a great time. Please advise with a date.
