Dear Major XXX,
I am in receipt of your Aug 90 complaint that you are not being treated fairly in accordance with CAPR 62-2 as to your appeal of disciplinary actions taken against you. CAP-USAF has decided to assign the investigation of your complaint to Lt Col XXX (AFRES), the individual mobilization augmentee assigned to our Liaison Region. Lt Col XXX's duty will be to establish facts associated with your treatment and determine if CAP Regulations were violated. Any subsequent action will then be at the discretion of CAP Commanders within the volunteer chain of command. I forwarded Lt Col XXX a copy of your complaint and applicable CAP Regulations. He will begin his investigation after 15 September 1990.
I will update you on the progress of Lt Col XXX's investigation on a 45 day basis until your complaint is closed out.
